The Mountain, the fire, the cloud and the sea. The story of Moses and the Israelites is more than an epic tale of plagues, bondage, survival and success. It’s the very establishing of God’s Kingdom of heaven on earth. When YHWH gave Moses the blueprint for the earthly tabernacle, He told Moses to follow the blueprints exactly because God wasn’t just showing Moses how to build a dwelling, He was giving Moses the very physical description of what His dwelling in heaven looks like!

Each pendant represents a different Moses Moment.

Approx. 16” paperclip tarnish resistant link chain with front toggle closure.

Choice of pendant as available / 18kt Gold Plated over brass or silver over brass.

+Parting the Sea

According to Hebrew tradition, at the same moment that the Red Sea parted, all the other water in the world split as well. As they walked through, the walls of the sea sprouted fresh fruit and fresh water! Even the BABIES lifted their heads to behold the Divine presence of YHWH. The sea represents the realm of that which is hidden. Splitting the sea and revealing the dry land on which the Israelites could walk, expresses the idea that the hidden rooms become in someway revealed and accessible!

+Climbing the Mountain

The mountian is the place where YHWH is consistently seated to connect with His creation. It is the location of His presence, & the center of all legislation. The climbing of a mountain is the journey to draw closer to the presence of YHWH. Exodus 15: 17-18 (Moses Song of Victory)

“You will bring them and plant them in the mountain [be-har] of Your inheritance, the place, O YHWH, which You have made for Your dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established. YHWH shall reign forever and ever.”

+Finding Purpose in the Fire

It's at the burning bush Moses begins to realize his life's purpose which is always connected to setting captives free.

When we encounter the fire of God, the flame first reveals our purpose, then it purifies our hearts to prepare us for our purpose, and ultimately it leads us out. We see this same pattern of God's consuming fire from Moses at the 1st Pentecost to the disciples at the 2nd Pentecost.

+Living in the Cloud

In the Torah, the cloud of glory conceals Shechinah, the Dwelling Presence of YHWH. The same cloud lead Israel in the wilderness, descended on Mount Sinai, & settled upon the Tabernacle. The cloud that led the way in front is called the Pillar of Cloud because it looked like a long pillar from the ground to the heavens. This was the cloud that blocked the arrows the Egyptians shot at the Jews at the Red Sea. The Talmud records the tents (sukkot) the Israelites lived in were the clouds of glory. Living in the cloud is the presence, protection, & provision of YHWH. When the Jews were meant to travel, the cloud would roll up into a thin pillar. When they were meant to rest, the cloud would blossom out like a palm tree at the place they were intended to camp.
